Paris to Versailles : Pick-Up
If you are staying in a hotel or apartment in Paris we will most likely be able to pick you up and drop you off at your accomodation. Then, the Paris to Versailles Tour will start at your hotel. Otherwise, we’ll meet you at a pre-arranged public place that has parking (near a train station like Gare du Nord if you come from London).
This Paris to Versailles Tour usually lasts a day from about 10:00am to 5:30pm. We spoil you: all our Vespa tours are private which means that you won’t have to wait other clients at their hotel… If these schedules don’t fit your wish, contact us and we will arrange your schedule.
Your lunch during our Paris to Versailles Tour
For lunch time, we usually have a rest in a snack or restaurant inside the Park of the Versailles Palace. But if you prefer to go to the fresh market and have a pic nic in the park, it is possible! We have other possibility…Ask us for more info!

If you want to keep the scooter after the Versailles tour, that’s possible ! (49€/day after a tour). GPS an option. It is a good way to avoid the subway and feel like a Parisian for the rest of your stay!
What’s the requirement to participate in our Paris to Versailles Tour?
To feel confident driving a Vespa scooter and spend a nice day you need to have already driven a moped, Vespa, motorbike…or any 2 Wheels motorized. You also need a current driving licence and a valid card for the 1200€ deposit. (not charged – a hold)

Description of our day trip from Paris to Versailles
Our day trip from Paris to Versailles starts at your hotel: we cross Paris & its main monuments through l’Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees towards the Bois de Boulogne to reach the Seine riding our Vespa scooter. After riding along the bank of the Seine, we’ll reach Versailles by lovely country roads & Forest !
Arrived at the golden gate of the Versailles Palace, we’ll ride inside the park of the Versailles Palace passing through the side entrance, rarely frequented by tourists.
Riding along the banks of the Grand Canal and large avenues, you’ll have the pleasure to discover this beautiful part of the park with its 800 hectares !
You’ll see the main palace as well as the Queen’s Estate and its farm as well as the Grand Trianon which is located about 2 miles from the Palace of Versailles : it was a small castle where the King had a rest when he wanted to avoid the crowd! Then we’ll park our Vespa scooter inside the park to enjoy a pleasant walk through the Gardens designed by Lenôtre, follow the Grand Canal and end up in the Palace. Difficult not to be impressed by the magnificent scenery of the gardens and forests of Versailles.
After lunch, our Paris to Versailles Tour goes on, then 2 choices are offered :
Explore the countryside of Versailles by scooter. In this case, we will travel around the beautiful contryside and see a French farm, 2 very old villages and will ride inside another great park where the French King used to spend his week-ends.
Visit the Versailles Palace. In this case, several options are possible (affordable price on request) :
- Visit the Palace – the Hall of Mirrors and The King’s Grand Apartments by yourself. (To avoid the long queues, We can provide you a skip the line ticket if booked in advance.)
- Or choose a 1h30 guided tour of the Versailles Palace. In this case, a guide of the Museum will let you discover the history of this magical place. If you choose a guided tour inside the castle you will gain priority admission to the Palace and will skip the line.
- Between April and October, a visit of the enchanting Show of the Palace’s fountains with a musical background can also be organised. (Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday only)
End of our Paris to Versailles tour:
On our way back from Versailles to Paris, we’ll follow a different road to see the Parc de Saint Cloud, an ancient residence of the Royal Family.
With its 450 hectares, this Park is known as one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe. After riding on the road of the Park through the wood, we’ll have a photo-break to apreciate the magnificent and panoramic view overlooking the Seine and Paris : the Eiffel Tower, the Montparnasse Tower and the Butte de Montmartre (topped by the Sacre Coeur).
