Your Paris sightseeing may take you to one of the most exciting show for kids as well as for adults. Maybe will you venture to the well known “cirque d’hiver”.
At the heart of the oldest circus in the world, you’ll find acrobats, trapeze artists, tigers, dogs and horses, as well as clowns and the Orchestra of the Cirque d’Hiver.
And This year The Cirque d’Hiver is 160 years ! You can imagine that this circus show is something to see this year !
The Cirque d’Hiver, built in 8 months and opened in 1852, was Cirque d’Hiver originally called Cirque Napoléon in honor of the Emperor Napoleon III. Located in the heart of Paris, 2 steps from Republique and Oberkampf in the 11th arrondissement, the current name of the structure was bestowed upon it in 1870 and translates to “Winter Circus”.
The winter circus is really one of the best circus of Paris. My 2 years old baby loved it ! The winter circus made my baby smiled, cried, and stayed glued for 3 hours watching at an amazing show. (a break of 15 minutes is expected during while you’ll be able to appreciated a glass of champage).
A good idea of Paris sightseeing if you spend a few days in Paris during Christmas.
